การปลูกแอปเปิล 

ลักษณะทั่วไป
         แอปเปิลเป็นไม้ผลเมืองหนาวประเภทผลัดใบ ซึ่งมีแหล่งกำเนิดทางยุโรป แหล่งปลูกที่สำคัญๆของโลก คือ ทวีปอเมริกา ยุโรปทางแถบเอเซียก็มี เช่น โซเวียต จีน ญี่ปุ่น รวมทั้งออสเตรเลีย และ นิวซีแลนด์ด้วย สำหรับประเทศไทยนั้นเพิ่งจะถูกนำเข้ามาปลูกไม่กี่ปีนี้เองลักษณะต้นและใบ เป็นไม้เนื้อแข็ง รูปร่างของยอดที่เจริญเต็มวัยจะแตกต่างไปตามชนิดและตามพันธุ์ โดยทั่วไปต้นแอปเปิลมีรูปร่างเกือบเป็นทรงกลม แต่บางพันธุ์ก็มีลักษณะสูงชลูด บางพันธุ์ก็มีลักษณะเป็นพุ่มแจ้ ใบเป็นใบเดี่ยวเขียวสลับกันและขอบเป็นหยัก ผลคล้ายชมพู่มีรอยเป็นปุ๋มทางด้านขั้นและก้นผล แต่ไม่ลึกนักมีสีผิวต่างกันตั้งแต่สีเหลืองคลํ่าจนถึงนํ้าตาลแดงเข้ม เนื้อมักจะมีสีขาวหรือขาวนวลซึ่งมีลักษณะหยาบ แอปเปิลเป็นพืชในสกุล Rosaceae มีชื่อวิทยาศาสตร์ว่า Malus domestica

สภาพดินฟ้าอากาศ

1. พันธุ์แอนนา เป็นพันธุ์ที่ผสมขึ้นมาในประเทศอิสราเอลเมื่อผลแก่จัดจะมีสีเหลืองสดขนาดใหญ่ปานกลาง รูปผลค่อนข้างยาว
